Default medical costs

I agree that when it comes to the Philippines, medical services are cheaper than in the States or Europe. Plus, we almost have all kinds of doctors who have their own specializations like cosmetic surgery, cosmetic dentistry, rhinoplasty, otoplasty and more.Even the surgeries that are popular in other countries, we already have. This is why foreigners are willing to go abroad like here in the Philippines just to have their surgeries. Our doctors are not so-so as they have high quality work, but are still affordable. You can read more information on cosmetic surgery clinics in their websites that also have contact information for those outside of the Pilippines.

Medical tourism in the Philippines is the practice of traveling to Cebu, Philippines to have a medical, dental, or surgical procedure performed, while at the same time touring, vacationing, and enjoying the country.

Most often the medical procedure is an elective one that is not immediately required under time limits. The most common of these elective, non-time sensitive procedures in Cebu are dermatology, cosmetic or aesthetic surgery, routine dental services, aesthetic dental procedures, weight loss surgery, and ophthalmology.

This is the second post recommending the Philippines for a medical tourism destination. I am curious what the quality of health care is in the Philippines. Should I be worried that the level of health care being significantly inferior to what I am accustomed to?
