Please tell me_ is it true that there are Pilipinos eating fresh huge worm flesh?

Well, not really fresh. They cook it first like adobo. It is the one found in coconut trunks. I think it's the larvae of "uwang" or known otherwise as horned beetle, weevil, or coconut beetle. I haven't tasted one and I don't have plan to.

its not true that filipinos eat raw worms.. i think that is a culture from other asian countries

I agree! Filipinos cook it first. haha. =) although i don't plan on eating worms.

Worms? Ewe. I don't plan on eating this kind of exotic food. Urgh.. It almost gave me goosebumps. It was a good thing that I ate my breakfast first before checking this thread haha.

maybe the worst thing that a filipino would eat worms is the worm that is present in vegetables that we dont know while eating and we eat it accidentally

I remembered seeing one scene in the teleserye, "Isabel"... those men drinking are eating slimy worms while drinking lambanog....

it is not that filipinos eat it fresh..my friends who used to eat that exotic one told me its delicious.
