Just bring him to our any of our streets and let him eat balut or penoy. He can also eat kwek-kwek, isaw (chicken and pigs intestine), blood barbecue, and proven (did I spell it correctly? hehe). Proven is fried chicken gizzard.

On the other thread they were saying about eating worms or coconut larvae or something. Erhm. I think it's exotic enough for me.

Hi there! Try Balaw Balaw Folk Art Museum and Restaurant in Angono, Rizal. I first went here before for my Social Science I class in college for a project on social deviation. Anyway the food they serve here are almost all exotic foods ranging from adobong bayawak (i dunno if it's alligator but you don't eat it often that's for sure), adobong sawa, (big snake) as well as fried grubs (big fat worms that eat dead coconut/tree trunks), bulls testicle soup, tapang usa (deer), baboy ramo (wild boar) etc. Even never-before-heard-of leaves can be eaten here like crispy alagao (it's a big flat tasty leaf).

This place is internationally famous as it was even featured in Bizarre Foods by Andrew Zimmern.

But definitely, this place is worth visiting because it offers a look at how Filipinos make everything in their environment work for them i.e. make weird food quite tasty. Also, it offers a great heritage as it allows these exotic recipes to still thrive despite the threat of more commercial and international cuisines.

Balaw Balaw in Angono, Rizal serves exotic foods. It's 1 hour away from Ortigas. To get there you have to drive to Junction and then go straight ahead if you are coming from Ortigas or in Ever Gotesco, after passing Junction drive through to Tikling (You are now in Taytay) and then pass the straight to get through to Angono and ask the folks there on how to get to Balaw Balaw. This is the most famous exotic food resto here in East Manila.

Exotik Restaurant got its name from the food they serves, they serves all kinds of exotic dishes like Bayawak (lizard), usa (Deer), Sawa (constrictor snake), Baboy Damo (Boar) to name a few, but they also served different Pilipino cuisine like Sinigang, Tuna sisig, grilled Tilapia, grilled squid. The food is great! The ambiance is really nice, the place offers a nice view of the Laguna lake, this is a place you can describe An exotic food in a nice hill side setting, One of the attraction is Samantha (a big pet anaconda)

Address: Longos, Kalayaan Highway in Laguna
