Iligan City is known for its Majestic waterfalls. It has a lot of scenic spots waiting to be discovered by tourists. For those who wish to visit the place, I would suggest that you stay in Famous Pension House. It only costs P300 for 24 hours, it's a wifi hotspot, the rooms are fully airconditioned with comfort room. Rooms also have cable TVs

My classmate went to Puerto Galera with her boyfriend, she said they got a room in GM's near Mountain Beach Resort for 240 pesos, the room is air conditioned with queen sized bed and a bathroom with shower. I have heard that the staff of GM's are really friendly as well as their room rates! :p

dormitories inside state universities usually accepts transient for as low as P100.

I'll try to get a picture on Famous Pension House. But in addition, for P300, you can choose rooms having queen-sized bed or two single beds in a room.

Iligan offers quite a number of scenic spots, including waterfalls, cool springs, fine beaches. If you're a spelunker, Iligan has more than enough caves for you. It has a few good hotels and inns, too, with cable TVs and telephones capable of international direct distance dialing. It has fine restaurants, among them the nationally acclaimed Sunburst Fried Chicken. It also has the popular fast-food chains found in Manila.
