Have you ever been to Libis? Or in Metrowalk? Those places are the best place to go if you are looking for a night life.

Good beer, good music, good ambiance.

Yes, both are actually near our place. I used to go to Libis with college buddies, Metrowalk with office mates. Lots of hot spots. Whether you wanna dance, just hang out with friends, watch free concerts, these are good places to go to.

It's the other way around. Eastwood is in Libis. :)

Yep, Eastwood is in Libis. And I am hearing a lot of good things about Sibil. Air Force 1? Hehehe! That place will give you one helluva night! :)

One of the newest places inside Eastwood, Libis is the Eastwood mall. We had dinner there last night at the Flying Pig and Blu Fish (they are two different restaurants but have one kitchen so you can cross order).

We had the Flying meatloaf (meatloaf wrapped in bacon), Salpicao, Adobo Pate, Salmon Sashimi (one was raw and the other one was a bit smoked), Shrimp Gambas, and Spaghetti Bolognese. They were all good but the best one for me was the Adobo pate! It was liver cooked adobo style then pureed into a pate then topped with diced ripe mangoes. My sister and I are planning to do our own version of it. It was really awesome!

I was looking forward to the new cinema...the ones with the purple seats. But with this one, I guess I have to check out the food, too!

Yep, it looks like a very promising mall. The cinemas are good and yep, you should check out the food. The strip where the Flying Pig and Blu Fish are located also houses Lucky Niku (?), a Japanese restaurant, and My Thai Kitchen. Those are the next on our agenda. :)

Try Jack's Loft in Eastwood. It has one of the best cheesecakes in the Philippines!

We've tried Jack's Loft once but I didn't bother anything as I was half drunk that time. I was just accompanying a friend who wanted to buy a cheesecake there.

I also like Jack's Loft's cheesecake! It is dense and quite cheesy. Some cheesecakes aren't cheesy anymore and are more airy than compact.

Yep, its compact and the cheese is very delicious it's not ordinary cheese I believe. The baker who bakes that cheese cake could well have been a good professional.

Also along libis is the famous "Dampa" where you can eat different kinds of seafood, cooked just the way you like it. Great for family or friends get together.

House of Minis is another fave restaurant in Libis. If you want affordable and yummy steaks, try this place. They offer complete meal from appetizer to dessert at a very reasonable price. My all time favorite here is steak ala Pobre.:D

Correct! If you're onto steaks, House of Mini's is a good place to be in.

Not far from House of Mini's is a restaurant called Mom and Tina's. It actually has a sort of American countrified atmosphere and the food is really good. Being a pastry foodie, I like their dark toblerone trifle-looking dessert. :)
