Has anybody heard about the food SATTI ? I believe it's a tribal food.
It's one of the best fast food I ever had along with tapsilog.
It's an orange spicy soup, then you add rice, tempura, barbecue in it.
It's so good. I've been to places in Luzon, Visayas Mindanao & I've never seen any place that serves satti.
If anybody knows some place, please lemme know.
Thanks :D

Satti is actually a very famous breakfast meal to the locals of Zamboanga. It is almost similar to satay from Malaysia, or our regular barbecue. Satti has only 3 small strips of roasted meats on a stick and the meat could be any from beef, pork, liver or chicken.

I have not seen any restaurants here in Manila that serves satti. I miss this food dearly...a must try! :)

there is now a satti outlet at the SM Fairview food court known as the Satti Grill House.
People who go there say it tastes better than the Jimmy's satti in Zamboanga, pls check out if they are right in saying that.

2nd Satti Grill House in MH del Pilar corner Padre Faura, Manila and sales there have been increasing due to strong patronage from people in Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi and Zamboanga City. The best thing is that place is opened for 24 hours so you could have your boiling-hot satti very early in the morning or very late at night. We also deliver in areas near M.H. del Pilar and you may call up the place at at tel. 3826462 for orders.
