You can go to the Church with the historical Belfry just located close to the downtown, also nearby is their beautiful City Hall. Fort Ilocandia is a must-see. While we were there we got to see a traditional procession of the dead. You will be amazed! It was like something that stepped out from a time machine - the costumes, the band, the calesa, etc. It may be "educational" also to witness the sunset. It's the loviest thing to experience it there.

what else is there in vigan?:)
what else is there in vigan?:)
Heritage Village - a long street, Calle Crisologo, where you'll find preserved, old houses; the road itself is made of cobbledstones and only kalesas can pass.
Museums - houses of heroes and prominent people in Ilocos were converted into museums showcasing their artifacts and memorabilia.
St. Paul Cathedral - Vigan's church
Plaza Salcedo & Plaza Burgos - open space parks
Souvenir shops - clay pot making, weaving
Close to Vigan City is Bantay Church and Bell Tower. The latter is situated on a hill. Outside the city, about 20mins trike ride, is Baluarte. It is a park and zoo owned by Chavit Singson.

I have heard lots of good stories about Pagudpud. So I and some friends decided to make a long drive from Manila last year's Holy Week days.
The good thing about having your own vehicle in making long rides is that you have the luxury of how much time you would like to spend on any particular place or point that would get your attention. So what could have been a direct trip to Pagudpud Beach became a travel of many stops.
I never regretted making the trip because what welcomed us at Pagudpud are the nice beach, powder white and there are "pebbly". The vastness of the blue South China sea provided a breathtaking back drop.
