4k round trip to singapore? wow! that's cheap! but, i think you have to book early right? like months before so you can avail of their promos?

yup that was actually cheap. At first i had hesitations( since i might caught financially unstable that time.hihi) but eventually, realized i can visit SG again for a cheap rate.

Yes, you have to book early. I believe booking time for these flights was april 27-28 only and the travel time is from June to oct 15, 2009. I received the confirmation email and its good to go.:)

I suggest, for the avid travelers to watch out for promos and ticket sales. This is just one way to tighten our budget.

Deadline: May 31 !

Due to insistent public demand, Southeast Asian Airlines (Seair) is extending its 14th anniversary promo by giving additional discounts of up to P70 million.

Until May 31, passengers get P1,400 discount per roundtrip on all fare classes and seats to any of its destinations when they book their flights online.

The travel period for this promo is from June 15 to Oct. 15. Travelers may log on to www.flyseair.com and type “iflyseair14” in the promo code field to avail themselves of the promo.

Seair has flown almost three million passengers to local destinations, including Boracay, Puerto Princesa, Tablas (Romblon), Masbate, Clark, Zamboanga, Jolo (Sulu), and Tawi-Tawi.

It currently flies daily to Basco, Batanes and will be increasing flights to twice daily to the scenic island paradise until June 14 every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

You probably just need to check out promos of PAL and Cebu Pacific. They usually have this promos at the end of the month. You can visit their website every now and then.

SEAIR extends 'P350 promo fares' to Boracay

Budget airline Southeast Asian Airlines (SEAIR) has extended its lowest fares promo to Boracay. In a statement, SEAIR said that "from now until October 15, 2009, travelers can fly to the famed beach destination for as low as P350 all-in."

To avail of the promo, SEAIR said passengers "simply have to purchase their tickets online at www.FlySeair.com until October 15, 2009." SEAIR also said the promo offers other advantages for Caticlan-bound passengers such as complimentary transfers from the Caticlan airport to Boracay beach.

SEAIR also recently launched SEAIR Travel Care.

"For a small additional fee, passengers are assured of a worry-free travel experience as SEAIR Travel Care provides travel insurance coverage for luggage losses or damages and other travel inconveniences. It is available online at www.FlySeair.com. SEAIR Travel Care is powered by Prudential Guarantee and Assurance, Inc. (PGAI)," the firm said. SEAIR now flies directly from Manila to El Nido twice a week.

El Nido is a group of islands with good sites for divers and snorkelers as well as beach and island-hoppers. It has "over 30 dive sites and more than 50 beaches and hidden lagoons."

SEAIR also flies five times weekly to Basco, Batanes during the Batanes summer (June to August).

Yes, I am also surprised that Seair extends this promo, especially because due to the Caticlan runway problem, Seair is right now the only Airline to Caticlan and there will be more than enough customers. All other airlines fly to Kalibo.

Seair can still manage their Caticlan flights because they use the smaller Dornier DO 328 planes:

Anyway .. i also booked right now ... but choosed Cebu Pacifc Manila - Kalibo - Manila. There were only a few of those promo flights at Seair available and the arrival/dep time was not so good for my connection flights ...

SEAIR launches 'Buy 1, Take 1' promo

Southeast Asian Airlines (SEAIR), the country's premiere leisure airline, is offering promotional fares at the 20th Philippine Travel Mart Sale in SM Megamall on September 4.

Travelers can purchase "Buy 1, Take 1" Batanes round-trip tickets for only P14,344, all in. They can also avail of a 75% discount on Boracay round-trip tickets for P3,500, all in. Travel and ticket validity period for the promo runs until October 15, 2009.

SEAIR is set to increase its flights bound for Caticlan, the nearest entry point to the famous Boracay, to 32 from 27 a day starting October 15. It will also have daily flights to Basco, Batanes from October 12 onwards.

Currently, SEAIR is the only airline flying directly to both locations. PAL Express and Cebu Pacific have diverted their Caticlan-bound flights to Kalibo due to changes in airport operating conditions.

Cebu Pacific (CEB), Asia’s third-largest low-cost carrier, is bringing back the ‘Go Lite’ P1 seat sale to all international and domestic destinations from Nov. 21-22, 2009, or until more than 50,000 seats have been sold out. Travel period is from June 15-Sept. 30, 2010.

CEB to launch Beijing flight

Cebu Pacific (CEB) is set to launch its 16th international destination on September 5, with the airline’s maiden Manila-Beijing-Manila flights.

CEB’s thrice weekly service will commence when the flight departs Manila at 7:35 pm and arrives in Beijing at 12:05am. The return flight will depart Beijing at 1:00 m and arrive in Manila at 05:30 m.

To promote further awareness for its China flights, CEB slashes up to 82 percent off the airline’s lowest year-round "Go Lite" fares in a China and Hong Kong seat sale from August 30-31 or until seats last.

For travel from October 1 to November 30, 2010, passengers can travel from Clark to Hong Kong on P599 "Go Lite" seats. Those going from Manila to Hong Kong can avail of P799 "Go Lite" seats, while those from Cebu traveling to Hong Kong can avail of P999 "Go Lite" seats.

Meanwhile, for travel from December 1 to 31, 2010, guests traveling from Manila to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou can avail of P888 "Go Lite" seats.

Those with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.
